I chose British Invasion for my music topic. I chose it because I love the Beatles and wanted to learn more about other British bands during the 60s and today.
3. Describe your process...how did you go about finding your songs and information?
I started off getting information from my dad about different bands to get an idea of what to look for.I then found the bands I wanted to use and then picked one of their most popular songs. I found information from reliable sites I knew I could trust. I used live performance videos for all of them.
4. What different kinds of technology did you use to compile your project? [Web tools, Mac tools, etc...]
I used Garage Band, Youtube, iTunes, and of course iMovie.
5. What are you good at...what went well for you in this project?
I had good information and I a well developed history of this genre.
6. With what did you struggle on this project...what was difficult for you?
The most difficult part was having the audio line up with the video. Even in the final product, some parts of it didn't line up. Half the video would line up perfectly but then the other half wouldn't.

I used still slides to present my information. I thought it would be easier to read and understand in a slide instead of talking.

I could use this in a Music class, such as Music Appreciation. It could be adapted into the history of anything.
9. What new techniques or technology tools did you use in this project that you've never used before? Be specific.
I used the slow motion tool to slow the videos to match with the vocals.
10. How did your project use the transformative property of borrowed images, music, and information to comply with the Copyright Law of 1976?[...not just that you cited the information, etc., but how did you transform the music, information, images, etc.?
I cut the music and videos to something different so they weren't the same as the original.
I would do another project like this on my own. I enjoyed learning about of different types of generes. I learned a lot in this project.
